Crocker Park, which is also called “The Promenade”, is a shopping and living center. It lies on 75 acres of land in Westlake, Ohio, close to Cleverland. In 2004, a project which costs $ 480 million had their grand opening to a highly anticipated crowd and community. Now over 2,000 residents are in their upscale apartments and suites thanks to this project.

The Crocker Park stores and restaurants make up a neighborhood that attracts over a million visitors a year. Known for it’s exclusive stores and restaurants in the area like Trader Joe’s, Coach and The Cheesecake Factory makes it an attraction for people of all natures. Whether your budget is large or small you can find a store or restaurant that will suit you at Crocker Park.

With rustic stone structures on the outside of the buildings and cobblestone sidewalks are a beautiful sight no matter what time of year it may be. The town square consists of a life size chess game, many benches to lounge or observe the view, food vendors and a fire pit in the winter months which is all open to the public. Locals and visitors are often drawn in by the beauty of their surroundings which keep them going back time and time again.

My personal favorite’s at “The Promenade” are the 2 story Dick’s Sporting Goods and the infamous grocery store Trader Joe’s, which you can find great organic food and exclusive California wines. My wife is a fan the designer stores like H&M, Coach and Abercrombie and Fitch. We also love to get dinner at Brio Tuscan Grille and The Cheesecake Factory which are our Crocker Park favorites.

You can make a day out of shopping in the area or even enjoy one of the many other attractions that the area has to offer. There are dozens of great places that are within an hour drive or so of Westlake, such as Cedar Point Amusement Park and Kalahari Indoor Water Park in Sandusky, Ohio and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio and much more. Summer is prime time in the area due to the festivities of Great Lake Erie bordering the cities surrounding.
